His latest endeavor is the collaborative album "désert (deluxe)" with harpist Lara Somogyi, released on August 29, 2025, featuring 11 improvised tracks recorded in the Joshua Tree desert. Leading up to this, he released several singles, including "monarque" on February 21, 2025, "refuge" on January 17, 2025, "dusk" on November 22, 2024, and "escaliers" on October 25, 2024. In 2023, he released the EP "sérénades" and performed for over 40,000 spectators at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, marking it as the largest neoclassical concert in history. Blais also composed the music for "Wonderfall," a permanent installation at Singapore's Changi International Airport, and began 2024 with three sold-out symphonic concerts to conclude his "aubades" cycle. His 2022 album, "aubades," received critical acclaim, winning a Félix Award for Best Instrumental Album.
