La Fouine, whose real name is Laouni Mouhid, is a French rapper and singer of Moroccan origin, born in Trappes, France. Active since 2001, he is known for his versatile style that blends French hip hop, hardcore rap, pop-rap, and R&B. Beyond his musical career, he is also an entrepreneur, having established his own label, Banlieue Sale, and a clothing brand called Street Swagg. In his latest endeavors, La Fouine achieved a number one spot on the French album charts in October 2025 with his mixtape, "Capitale du Crime Radio vol 2". Earlier in April 2025, he released the album "État des lieux", which features tracks such as "Légendaire" and "Cr7 ft. Nessbeal". He also unveiled the tracklist for a new project in September 2025, highlighted by a collaboration with Himra on the track "LÉGENDES". Notably, there have been recent reports in early October 2025 concerning his disappearance, which has led to a police investigation and growing concern within the French rap community.
