About the venue

Sentralen is a versatile event house in the Kvadraturen district of central Oslo, Norway, housed in the historic former Christiania Sparebank building (1901) and reopened as a cultural venue in 2016. Spread over six floors, it hosts concerts, performances, conferences and cultural events across a range of distinctive spaces — including the Marble Hall (Marmorsalen), the Vault (Hvelvet, an intimate black box in the old bank vault), the Gymnasium and several production and meeting rooms — plus a roof terrace, rehearsal rooms and studios.
