Gigue Rocks: THE MADCAP + SKP Trio + UZAK
Gigue Rocks brings together three acts from the Turkish and Anatolian rock scene for a night of live music at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road, London.
The Madcap
Originally formed in Ankara and now based in London, The Madcap is a modern hard rock band known for powerful vocals, melodic anthems and high energy live shows. With over 300 shows across Turkey, Ukraine, Croatia and the UK, the band has shared stages with major rock acts and performed at festivals in front of audiences of up to 10,000.
Their sound draws from classic hard rock and contemporary metal, with their latest album, Beat the Destiny, featuring a collaboration with Tommy Johansson of Sabaton and Majestica.
SKP Trio
SKP Trio is a London based multinational band blending the melodic and poetic heritage of Anatolia with the dark, energetic sound of grunge. Featuring fretless guitar, bağlama, vocals, fretless bass and drums, the trio creates a distinctive sound that brings Anatolian music into a modern alternative rock setting.
UZAK
UZAK is a UK based Turkish alternative rock band formed in 2024 by Onur Özkaya, Deniz Ünal, Berk İkizoğlu and Cem Bayar. The band began by bringing much loved Turkish alternative rock songs from the 1990s and 2000s to stages across the UK, performing in London, Birmingham, Coventry, Liverpool and Brighton.
Alongside their live shows, UZAK are developing their own material and released Uzakta, Karınca and Gün Olsam in 2026.
Signature Brew Blackhorse Road is a lively brewery and taproom located in Walthamstow, East London, which doubles as a dynamic music and entertainment venue. Opened in 2021, it offers a wide range of brewery-fresh beers, an on-site kitchen, and a diverse calendar of live music, comedy, and other events, accommodating up to 300 standing guests. The venue provides a vibrant atmosphere with indoor, outdoor, and rooftop terrace seating.
