Salih Korkut Peker is a Turkish multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger renowned for pioneering an innovative fusion style known as "Anatolian Grunge," blending traditional microtonal Anatolian folk music, blues, and Seattle grunge using unique stringed instruments like the cümbüş, çağlama, and fretless guitar. Having built a rich career through solo releases like his debut album *Denize Dik*, collaborative projects such as Yasak Helva, and various soundtrack and theater compositions, he continues to actively push the boundaries of modern ethnic-rock fusion, perform live looping stage shows, and teach microtonal makam music.
