Detroit's Lelo continues his breakout run in 2026, closing out the summer with a string of new music and a sold-out hometown-capping tour. His latest release, "Like Sunday" is a catchy, sample-driven video, following his April collaboration "Yoppenheimer (Remix)" with Joey Bada$$ and the January single "Dice Roll," both of which extended the momentum from his double mixtape, Mastiff and Pink Tiles, packaged together as a two-disc tape contrasting his signature "New Detroit" sound with a more experimental, ghettotech-infused side.

The Mastiff era carried Lelo well beyond his hometown. He made his Rolling Loud debut in Orlando in May, performed alongside Don Toliver at Summerfest in Milwaukee, and was named Billboard's Up-and-Coming Hip-Hop Artist of the Month for June 2026, adding to earlier profiles and co-signs from Pitchfork, Highsnobiety, The FADER, and Vice. His headlined Mastiff: Pink Tiles Tour with Groovepill grew from its initial 13-date announcement into a sold-out, 15-city run, to a 6 date EU run, with Lelo coming to London December 8th at Vespers.
