Alexander Motovilov is an Estonia-based pianist and composer specializing in contemporary classical and neoclassical piano music, drawing from 19th and 20th-century classical romantic traditions while incorporating modern influences. He holds dual master's degrees in piano performance and composition. Motovilov has achieved a significant global reach with his solo piano compositions, accumulating approximately 40 to 50 million streams across platforms such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music. His latest album, "The Encounter," a cinematic journey exploring a romantic bond, was released in July 2025 via Andante Piano. He performs live with a string trio that includes his wife, Dara, and participated in Piano Day 2024 with his string duo, featuring new compositions alongside familiar works.
