Alexander Motovilov is a Russian-born, Estonia-based pianist and composer specializing in contemporary classical and neoclassical piano music, drawing from 19th and 20th-century classical romantic traditions while incorporating modern influences. He holds dual master's degrees in piano performance and composition. Motovilov has achieved significant global reach with his solo piano compositions, accumulating approximately 40 to 50 million streams across platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music. His latest album, "The Encounter," a cinematic journey exploring a romantic bond, was released in July 2025 via Andante Piano. He performs live with a string trio that includes his wife, Dara, and participated in Piano Day 2024 with his string duo, featuring new compositions alongside familiar works. Recent endeavors also include numerous single releases in 2025, such as "Under the Starry Sky", "September", "Bridges", "Among Stars", "Glimmer", and "Snowflakes".
