Psych folk

The Butterfly Wheel is a UK-based alternative psychedelic rock band known for their immersive, theatrical, and spiritually charged performances that draw inspiration from 1960s garage psych, punk new wave, and ethereal rock. Fronted by the hauntingly distinctive voice of Alice Ancient alongside members like Myrrh Moon and Ryan, the band weaves lush synth textures and dreamy guitar riffs into deep explorations of mysticism, myth, and transformation. Continuing to captivate audiences with their signature raw yet cosmic sound, they have been active on the live circuit across venues and festivals, including a performance at London's Flamingo Club.
