Dumbo Gets Mad is an Italian psychedelic pop project, founded in early 2011 in Los Angeles by Luca Bergomi, known for blending neo-psychedelia, psychedelic rock, soul, and disco influences into a unique and often experimental sound. Their music incorporates digital and analog synths with retro psych-pop influences and hypnotic 60s vibes, creating a layered and fluid soundscape. The project has released several albums, including *Elephants at the Door* (2011), *Quantum Leap* (2013), *Thank You Neil* (2015), and *Things Are Random And Time Is Speeding Up* (2021). In recent endeavors, Dumbo Gets Mad released the live album *Levitation Sessions* in 2023. Most recently, Luca Bergomi's latest studio album, *Five Eggs*, was released on September 16, 2025. The project also resumed a North American tour in March 2023 that had been previously halted due to the pandemic.
