About Artio

Artio is an English alternative rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, formed in 2018, known for their self-produced blend of alternative rock, electronic music, and nu-metal. The quartet consists of vocalist Rae Brazill, lead guitarist Rob Arkle, rhythm guitarist Jai Akhurst, and bassist/drummer/producer Ieuan Jones. Their music, often inspired by artists like Twenty One Pilots, PVRIS, and Skrillex, explores themes such as identity, emotional challenges, recovering from trauma, and queer rage. Their song "Product Of My Own Design" gained significant traction on TikTok, resonating deeply with the LGBTQIA+ community. Artio has been highly active, releasing their second album, "Soul Rot," on January 21, 2026, via LAB Records. This album delves into internal reflection and the pressures of being an authentic creator in today's market. Preceding the album, they released several singles, including "The Devil You Know" (featuring Cody Frost) in September 2025, "Let It Be A Void" in October 2025, and "Seven Suns" (featuring Kahal) in November 2025. In August 2025, they also released "Shapeshifted," a compilation of their first three re-recorded and remastered EPs. The band toured the UK and mainland Europe in early 2025 and performed at Download Festival 2025. They are scheduled for a UK headline tour in March 2026 to support "Soul Rot" and will open the Kerrang! Stage at Takedown Festival 2026.
