Obscure Sphinx is a female-fronted metal band formed in Warsaw, Poland, in 2008. Their music blends post-metal with influences from doom metal, post-rock, and progressive metal. They are known for merging sonic spaces and electronic samples with heavy 8-string guitars and 6-string bass rhythms, all flavored by the vocalist's unique voice. Their latest endeavor is the release of their new EP "Emovere" on January 6th, 2025, featuring the single "Scarcity Hunter".
