About Kakihara

Kakihara is a metallic hardcore and mathcore band hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, known for delivering raw, chaotic, and high-energy DIY music characterized by complex riffing, frantic drumming, and fierce vocals. Emerging from Scotland's underground scene, the group—comprising vocalist Keith Muddiman, drummer Gary Hollingsworth, bassist Biff Paris, and guitarists Fraser McNeill and Kris Kournavos—has built a strong reputation for their intense live performances. Expanding on their earlier underground releases and singles, Kakihara released their ferocious EP *Love Songs Part 2* via Ripcord Records, further cementing their place as a prominent force in contemporary UK mathcore and metallic hardcore.
