Helpless is a UK-based extreme metal and mathcore trio originating from Plymouth, known for blending chaotic grindcore, discordant noise rock, and crushing sludge metal elements akin to bands like Converge and Nails. Following their acclaimed 2017 debut album *Debt*, the band solidified their lineup around founding guitarist and vocalist Daniel Couch to unleash their visceral sophomore full-length, *Caged In Gold*, released via Church Road Records.
