Dov'è Liana is a French trio deeply inspired by Italian culture, particularly Palermo, creating a unique blend of French touch, Italian, and rock influences within the electronic dance music genres of Italo disco and Italo dance. Known for their avant-garde soundscapes and genre-defying tunes, their music is characterized by captivating tempos, intriguing melodies, and pulse-pounding beats, fusing elements of ambient, techno, and house music. The band maintains an anonymous identity, often performing with scarves and sunglasses to emphasize their musical narrative and challenge traditional masculinity stereotypes, promoting a message of freedom and self-expression. Their debut single, "Perché Piangi Palermo," released in 2020, quickly gained traction in Italy. This was followed by tracks like "Ecco la Notte" (2020), "Blue Summer" (2022), "Janvier" (2022), "Piacere" (2022), "Discamore" (2022), and "Amore Internazionale" (2022). Their most recent single, "Bowie Girls," was released in 2023. Dov'è Liana's first album, "Love 679," released in October 2024, is a bold project featuring lyrics in both Italian and English, exploring themes of love, beauty, and freedom through uninhibited celebration. They have embarked on a "679 Winter Tour". The trio has garnered a devoted fanbase, performing over 40 sold-out concerts across Europe and building a growing presence on streaming platforms. They aim to create inclusive spaces at their concerts where judgment is left at the door, fostering a sense of collective euphoria and freedom.
