The Great Hall is Cardiff Union's largest venue with a capacity of 1500 and can be accessed from the entrance on Senghennydd Road [2, 5]. One of the oldest Live Music venues in Cardiff, The Great Hall has played host to some of the biggest acts in the world [2, 5]. By night it is best known as a legendary Cardiff gig venue [3]. The Great Hall also hosts formal dinners and awards evenings [3]. The Great Hall can host up to 1600 people and can transform into a lecture theatre, exhibition space, exam hall and one of Cardiff's prime venues for live music [7].
