Thala live in Birmingham

Rising indie star Thala heads to the UK and makes a stop at Hare & Hounds 2, Birmingham on Monday 6th October.

Prepare for a sonic storm like no other: Avalanche, the highly anticipated third album from indie rock powerhouse Thala, released February 14th, igniting a wave of raw emotion and unfiltered truth. Known for her hauntingly beautiful melodies and searing lyrical honesty, Thala has toured with some of the most exciting names in Indie music, including Current Joys, Snail Mail, and even opened for the iconic Paolo Nutini. With Avalanche, she cements herself as one of the most authentic and essential voices of her generation.

Described as “an ode to the meltdown,” Avalanche confronts the chaos and catharsis of emotional manipulation, gaslighting, and the universal yearning for freedom. It’s an album that refuses to shy away from the messy, complicated, and deeply human experience of being caged by others’ expectations and breaking free to reclaim your power.

“This record is about being unapologetically honest,” says Thala. “It’s for anyone who’s ever felt trapped, silenced, or manipulated. This is about the moments when you find your strength in the chaos.”

The release of Avalanche on Valentine’s Day couldn’t be more poetic. While the world celebrates love, Thala offers a brutally honest counterpoint—a fearless exploration of the emotional maelstrom that lies beneath surface-level smiles.

With Avalanche, Thala isn’t just releasing an album—she’s unleashing an emotional movement. Don’t miss what promises to be one of the most talked-about records of the year.
