Gotobeat is excited to once again team up with The Hope & Ruin in Brighton to welcome Spooky Huge live on Friday, 25th July.
SPOOKY HUGE is an alternative rock band from Brighton, UK, known for blending hard rock intensity with a grunge edge. Their music features heavy riffs, moody atmospheres, and a mix of melodic and aggressive elements, exploring themes of introspection and resilience. The band consists of Georgi Ball on vocals, Daniel Curme on guitar, Harry Firman on bass, and George Shepherd on drums. SPOOKY HUGE recently had a headline show on April 15th at The Rossi Bar in Brighton. They released their debut single, "Empty Dream," in December 2023, and followed up with "far from somewhere" in April 2024.

The Hope & Ruin is a lively pub and grassroots music venue in Brighton, known for its chaotic, quirky decor and reclaimed vibe. It features a 150-capacity upstairs room that supports independent live music, hosting local bands and touring artists, including past performances by acts like The Strokes and Adele. The venue also offers a 100% plant-based food menu from Beelzebab.
