After a sell out tour in spring Liam C & The Boys are back by popular demand for their final shows of 2026.
Liam C is a one–of-a-kind singer-songwriter whose determination and self-belief have propelled him from sleeping in hostels to having viral moments with global superstars. Born and raised in Colchester, Liam’s childhood saw his parents separate when he was young, and he and his younger sister moved repeatedly, finally settling in Shrewsbury with their mother. It was his grandmother, however, who ignited his passion for music, exposing him to an eclectic mix of styles—from Jilted John to classic folk—that would later shape his genre-blurring sound.
The Portland Arms is a traditional English pub in Cambridge featuring wood panelling and real fireplaces, complemented by a separate, modern live music venue. It has a standing capacity of 200, hosting a diverse range of local, national and international acts across genres like indie, folk and punk, as well as comedy and theatre events. The venue is a key part of the Cambridge live music scene.
