Portuguese-born, London-based artist Raquel Martins returns with ‘NINGUÉM’, a raw and introspective new single that boldly explores themes of sexuality, guilt, and escapism, set against a backdrop of dreamy, experimental production. The release comes alongside the announcement of her highly anticipated debut album, LONDON, WHEN ARE U GONNA FEEL LIKE HOME?, due later this year via Bridge The Gap, which will be presented at OMEARA this September.

Raquel Martins is a London-based Portuguese singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer who blends Latin-infused alternative soul with elements of Brazilian music, alternative jazz, and lo-fi indie. Her music explores themes of identity, human connection, and her experiences as a cultural immigrant. In addition to her solo work, Martins has worked as a session and touring guitarist for various established artists.

MAVICA

MAVICA is the project of London-based artist Marta Casanova. Her sound blends folk with indie, pop and electronic sounds. Originally from Cartagena, Spain, she moved to London when she started studying Performance and Production at the London College of Creative Media. There, she wrote debut EP ‘Gone’, including breakout song ‘Fire’, which received critical acclaim from The Line of Best Fit and The 405. Her 2023 debut album sometimes a person never comes back (but that’s okay), received support from Rolling Stone, Billboard Latin, Clash, C-Heads, Early Rising, Paste, BBC Radio 1, KCRW and got her on the cover of Spotify's 'Radar Indie' & Tidal's 'Global Rising' playlists. MAVICA played festivals like Primavera Sound, Mad Cool, The Great Escape, Wilderness, SXSW (Austin & London) and has opened for Alice Phoebe Lou, Roo Panes, Blanco White and Low Island.
