Gotobeat to proud to once again team up with The Croft in Bristol to present Olive Featherstone's upcoming hometown headline show on Saturday 21st February.
Olive Featherstone is an artist based in Bristol, United Kingdom. Drawing from themes of depersonalisation and hopeless romanticism, her debut album, ‘I Was Wondering, Lost’, is out now.
Having played Dot To Dot Festival 2021 and supporting artists such as John Myrtle, Julia Bardo and Mumble Tide Olive has become one to watch on the Bristol Indie scene.
As a solo artist, the moniker of Olive Featherstone only came about in recent years; however, it has provided a safe space to discuss narratives closer to home.
‘I Was Wondering, Lost’ was recorded and produced alongside old school friend and fellow coursemate, Calum Wotherspoon. Despite going into the studio environment as novices, the end result is something altogether different.
‘I Was Wondering, Lost’ is a stunning and triumphant debut, packed with emotional storytelling and immersive production, shining the best colours on Olive Featherstone as an artist. - CLOUT
A powerful artist. 'Lie Down' is a real pearl, yet it emerged from a period of mental health duress in Olive's own life. - CLASH
