Gotobeat is excited to once again team up with The Prince Albert in Brighton to welcome Krumpets live on Thursday, 22nd January.

Krumpets

Krumpets are an alt-folk trio (guitar, bass, drums/banjo) based in Brighton, inspired by bands like Big Thief and this is the kit, described as "a very effective and haunting blend of Americana and folk. They were so good that I found myself stroking my beard at one point." - Davey Hammond, Cambridge Radio and "uniquely whimsical" - Hayley Claperton, Grapevine Magazine.

Takeda

Takeda is a Norwich-based four-piece folk rock band known for their unique blend of classic acoustic folk and fuzzy grunge elements. They are recognized for their "grunge folk" sound, combining melodic and emotional folk sensibilities with fuzzed-out guitars and powerful choruses. The band emerged from the tight-knit Norwich DIY community, maintaining a passion for individuality in their music, which at times verges on folk, and at others, an alt-rock crunch.
