Trim is an acclaimed English grime MC from East London, recognized for his intricate lyricism, versatile flow, and eclectic approach to the genre. A pioneering figure, he first gained prominence as a member of the influential Roll Deep crew before embarking on a prolific solo career. He is often referred to as grime's "poet laureate" due to his distinctive wordplay and metaphorical depth, which have significantly influenced subsequent generations of UK artists. In recent endeavors, Trim has continued to release a steady stream of music, showcasing his adaptability and consistent creativity. In 2023, he released "Roadworks Pt1" and "Funky Sailor" (with Skream). His 2024 releases include "Roadworks Pt2", "My Problem" (with Klinical), and "Wha Happen" (with Neffa T + Pinch via Tectonic Recordings), in addition to an EP titled "No Caller ID" with Pinch.
