Tiromancino is an Italian pop-rock group from Rome, historically led by singer-songwriter Federico Zampaglione, known for blending traditional song forms with unconventional sounds that incorporate alternative rock, electronic, and folk elements. Their music is characterized by sophisticated acoustic sounds, which later evolved to include electronic elements, creating subtly psychedelic atmospheres. In their latest endeavors, Tiromancino released the new single "Il Cielo" on November 15, 2024, a song Federico Zampaglione considers among his best, born from a period of personal difficulty. Earlier in 2024, they also released the single "Puntofermo" on March 22. The band is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal album "La descrizione di un attimo" with a re-release in multiple formats on June 20, 2025, and a dedicated "La Descrizione di un Viaggio Tour 2025" with numerous dates across Italy throughout the summer and into October. Looking ahead, Federico Zampaglione has announced that a new Tiromancino album, featuring 11 new tracks, is slated for release in 2026, despite previous statements indicating a potential halt to album releases.
