The Harbours are a Leicester, UK-based indie-pop and indie-rock band, formed in 2024, consisting of lead vocalist Ollie Drakard and lead guitarist/backing vocalist Will Massarella-Tyler. They are known for their sunshine indie pop sound, blending modern indie vibes with classic pop influences, reminiscent of bands like The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club, and The Wombats. The duo gained significant traction with their debut single "Out of Sight" going viral in April 2024, accumulating over 300,000 Spotify streams and 85,000 TikTok followers. Their recent endeavors include the release of their debut EP, "Are We Nearly There Yet?", in July 2025, featuring tracks such as "What Are We Running For?" and "Scarlet (Boys That Sing)". "Scarlet (Boys That Sing)" was notably voted "Song of the Week" on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands. Other recent singles include "So Sweet" (June 2024), "Locked In" (September 2024), "Live It Up", and "The Rise" (March 2025), with "Live It Up" also earning BBC Music Introducing's 'Track of the Week'. The Harbours have performed at major venues and festivals, including O2 Academy London, Beat the Streets Festival, and BBC Introducing Live, solidifying their reputation for infectious melodies and energetic performances.
