PleasureInc. is the genre-fluid musical brainchild of Norwich-based brothers Jesse and Louis Baker, who perform under the aliases Kenny Pleasures and Jonny Silver. Formed in early 2021, the duo blends elements of hip-hop, indie, pop, fashion, film, and 90s influences, creating a sound that has been compared to artists like Blur, Beastie Boys, easy life, and Tyler, The Creator. Their music, which also draws from Blood Orange and Frank Ocean, has evolved to incorporate modern production techniques and a focus on hip-hop and alt-pop, often featuring "hip-hop swagger and chant-a-long indie nostalgia". The band radiates personality and has built a fast online and live following, selling out venues across the UK, including a performance at House of Vans in November 2022. Their endeavors include a string of single releases such as "Money Talks" (late 2021), "Croissant" (2022), "For The Fun Of It" (early 2023), and "What's My Name?" (July 2023), garnering over 100,000 Spotify streams. In February 2024, PleasureInc. announced their debut EP, 'Plastic People,' alongside their biggest headline UK tour to date. They have received support from BBC Radio 6 Music, Clash, Wonderland, Earmilk, Mystic Sons, and BBC Introducing, and have supported acts like Swim Deep, Sundara Karma, LIFE, Youth Sector, and Joey Valence in 2023. PleasureInc. is also scheduled to play in Nijmegen in April 2026.
