Adult Leisure is a melodic alt-indie four-piece band formed in Bristol in 2020. The group, comprising Neil Scott (vocals), David Woolford (guitar), Luke Denham (bass), and Nathan Searle (drums), is known for its alt-rock sound, blending influences from 80s and 90s alternative and new wave pioneers with a refreshingly modern take on genre fluidity. In their latest endeavors, Adult Leisure released their new single "Dancing Don't Feel Right" on February 28, 2025. The accompanying video for this track pays homage to the local Bristol music scene. The band's music has garnered international attention, with their second EP, "Present State of Joy and Grief" (released November 2023), being played in Hotel Chocolat stores worldwide. Another single, "Borderline," was also selected to open an episode of "Made in Chelsea". Adult Leisure has completed four UK tours, performed at various UK festivals, and supported acts such as The Family Rain and The Luka State. In September 2024, the band made their European debut at Sweden's Live At Heart Festival. They recently played their biggest hometown show to date at Thekla on October 10.
