MAQUINA. is a Lisbon-based power trio known for their dynamic fusion of noise rock, krautrock, industrial techno, and EBM, delivering a raw, energetic, and danceable sound primarily driven by guitar, bass, and drums without synthesizers. Comprising Halison on drums and vocals, João Cavalheiro on guitar, and José "Mendy" Rego on bass, the band is celebrated for their high-energy live performances. They released their debut full-length album 'PRATA' in April 2024 on Fuzz Club, following their 2023 EP 'DIRTY TRACKS FOR CLUBBING,' which saw a vinyl reissue in February 2025 due to popular demand. MAQUINA. recently announced their highly anticipated second album, 'BODY TRANSMISSION,' set for release on July 10, 2026, via Fuzz Club. The band has also been actively touring, including a recent tour of Brazil and a KEXP performance at Trans Musicales 2025, with extensive European tour dates planned throughout 2026.
