HAZMAT is a St. Louis-based all-girl alt-rock band, known for their raw and energetic sound that blends elements of shoegaze and post-grunge. The band consists of Envy on vocals, Lily on guitar, Izzy on bass, and Bowie on drums. They have gained recognition through social media and are noted for their dynamic live performances, having played at venues such as Delmar Hall and Blueberry Hill. In recent endeavors, HAZMAT held an album release party for their record "Pins and Needles" in August 2023. Their live shows feature original tracks like "RIOT!", "blood", "Bad Decisions", "envy", "20 Missed Calls", "converse", "gluttony", "Spider Boy", "not ur mommy", and "choke". The band has also openly discussed the challenges of sexism they face within the music industry.
