Candymen were an American pop quintet active between 1965 and 1972, known for their easy rock style with a strong blues influence. They gained recognition as the backing band for Roy Orbison and released chart singles such as "Georgia Pines" in 1967 and "Ways" in 1968. Their self-titled album reached No. 195 in the US charts. Following the band's dissolution, several members went on to form the Atlanta Rhythm Section. As an active group, there is no recent news or endeavors, as the band ceased activity in 1972.
