Alison's Halo is a Tempe, Arizona-based band known for their ethereal sound, blending elements of shoegaze, dream pop, and slowcore, characterized by dreamy vocals and expansive, loud guitars. The band, originally active from 1992 to 1998, reactivated in 2009 and has recently seen a significant resurgence in popularity, particularly among a new generation of fans discovering their music through streaming platforms. In recent endeavors, Alison's Halo has been active with new music releases and touring. They released the digital single "Happy" in December 2024 and "So Far Away" in May 2025. Their "Skywide" digital EP, featuring unearthed recordings from a 1996 rehearsal session and newly finished songs, was released in October 2025 via Nettwerk. The band also embarked on a U.S. tour with Panchiko in late 2024 and a co-headlining tour with Tanukichan in November 2025. Furthermore, there is anticipation for additional new music from Alison's Halo in 2026.
