Northern Guitars Cafe Bar is a cultural hub in Leeds, operating as both a bar and live music venue on the ground floor and a guitar shop upstairs. Established as a guitar shop in 1989 and opening the cafe bar in 2017, it offers a cosy, 70s vibe with stripped-back walls lined with guitars, original vintage posters, local artwork, and photography. It champions the local music scene with a live stage for up-and-coming talent, hosting live music at weekends, laid-back gigs on weekdays, and popular open mic nights on Mondays and jam nights on Tuesdays. The guitar shop sells new, pre-owned, and vintage electric and acoustic guitars, amps, pedals, and old rock posters, and also offers guitar and amp repairs. The bar features a selection of craft ales from Yorkshire, coffee, and has outdoor seating.
