Since its establishment in 2009, Heimathafen Neukölln has aimed to redefine 'Volkstheater' (people's theatre) by offering a diverse program that includes theatre productions, music theatre, concerts, readings, discussions, poetry slams, and new show formats, reflecting the diverse styles, genres, and cultures of the district. It serves as a cultural space for entertainment and critical debate, hosting both in-house productions and international guest performances. The venue is known for its authentic charm, good acoustics, and intimate atmosphere.
