Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, known professionally as Xzibit, is an American rapper, actor, and former host of the reality show Pimp My Ride. Following his debut album in 1996, he gained commercial success through collaborations with Dr. Dre on projects like "Restless" and "Man vs. Machine". Xzibit also has an acting career, appearing in the series "Empire" and films such as "8 Mile", starring Eminem, and "Gridiron Gang" with The Rock. In May 2025, he released his first album in 12 years, "Kingmaker", via Greenback Records. The album features artists including Ice Cube and Busta Rhymes, showcasing a more mature writing style. "Kingmaker" aims to share lessons from his career and provide a platform for new artists.
