
Now into their 8th year as a band, The Cement Garden bring a fusion of thundering drums, funky basslines, aggressive guitars and raw lyrics in their own unique brand of post-punk. Recommended for fans of SOFT PLAY (formerly known as Slaves), The Offspring and shame.
Battery Acid are a 4 piece alt/rock band from the UK. With influences of folk, punk and metal, they have cultivated a unique sound, putting their own spin on the genre. Their combination of grungy guitar tones, catchy chord progressions and haunting melody lines brings a new breath of life to the rock scene. After releasing their debut self-titled single ‘Battery Acid’, they were added to a variety of playlists; such as New British Punk, Straight Edge [Female Fronted Rock] and Best New UK Rock, and have since gone on to release their second single; ‘Disposable’ along with their most recent release 'Purity'. Within their first year together, they performed in 30 live shows in Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury, London and Yorkshire. Their plans for the coming year include releasing more music alongside a video, and heading on a short UK tour.
