About the venue

Komedia Brighton is an independent live entertainment venue established in 1994, located in the heart of Brighton's North Laine. It presents one of the largest and most diverse arts programmes in the UK, hosting over 700 performances annually, including comedy, music, cabaret, club nights, and children's theatre. The venue features two flexible performance spaces, a kitchen serving freshly prepared food, and operates a cinema (Duke's at Komedia) upstairs in partnership with Picturehouse. Komedia has won the Chortle Comedy Award for Best Venue in the South a record 18 times.
