Rufus Miller is a South London solo artist known for his psych-folk/rock sound that pays homage to late 80s, early 90s, and early 2000s alternative, grunge, and psychedelic music, while also embracing darker, gothic subgenres. The son of Sting's longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Rufus also spent six years touring with Sting. He released his debut solo album, "Pop Skull," in 2018, followed by "Make It" in 2020. In his latest endeavors, Miller released the single "Fly Me Away" in 2024, and in 2025, he put out several singles including "Rat Sandwich," "Take My Time," and "Stoned in Morocco." His single "Basement" was released on August 30, 2025, serving as a preview for his upcoming third album, also titled "Basement," slated for a November 6, 2025 release. He frequently performs live across London as part of a power trio and appeared at Festival Slunovrat in 2025. Miller has also been involved in creating a "super dark and heavy" soundtrack for an upcoming film or series, drawing inspiration from bands like A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails. He also collaborated with his sister, Misty Miller, on new music during the pandemic and continues to engage with a vibrant rock music community in London.
District 13 is a heavy alternative rock band hailing from London, UK, known for infusing Heavy Metal and Punk to create a unique sound, often described as a cross between Black Sabbath and The Ramones. The band comprises Jon Wild on vocals and guitar, Alessio Barba on bass (who joined in March 2024), and Asen Milushev on drums. They released their debut album, "Soma," on July 15, 2019, which received positive reviews. Notable tracks include "Soma," "First Impressions," and "Wild Flowers," with "Is This The Way" being featured in the 2020 movie "Yatagan." District 13 has performed at significant events such as the Hills of Rock festival in Bulgaria in 2018 and 2022, and most recently opened for Judas Priest at the Sofia arena on July 19, 2024. The band also has a history of performing at the Wychwood festival and reaching the Glastonbury Pilton Stage finals.
