Red Remedy are a five-piece nu-gaze band from Sunderland, blending grunge grit, shoegaze atmosphere, and nu-metal intensity into an emotionally charged, immersive sound. Known for their raw honesty and explosive live shows, the band channel their North East roots into music that’s heavy, vulnerable, and unapologetic.
The band have built strong momentum on the live circuit, recently supporting Bad Manners and touring with Villanelle in December 2025. Their music has received support from BBC Introducing and been championed by local and national tastemakers, cementing their reputation as one of the North East’s most exciting emerging alternative acts.
Red Remedy continue to push their sound darker and more immersive, carving out their own lane in the UK alt scene.

The Waiting Room is an intimate 120-capacity live music venue and club located in the basement of The Three Crowns pub in Stoke Newington, London. Known for its vibrant and cozy atmosphere, it hosts a diverse range of club nights, often with a queer-leaning focus, as well as electronic music events and gigs by various artists.
