Meat Bags are what happens when two southerners, a northener and an even more northerner, converge in a gutter in Manchester. Meat Bags are Tom, Harry, Matt, and Scott. They make music for bags of meat like you. They understand what it's like to become an organic relic left behind in a digital world. They are you, and you are them. Meat Bags cannot save you, but they might make you forget you need saving for a moment.
The Hope and Anchor is an intimate live music venue and historic pub on Upper Street in Islington, London. Famed for its role in the 1970s pub rock and punk scenes, the Grade II-listed Victorian venue features a ground-floor bar, a 50-seat upstairs theatre, and an 80-capacity basement room that hosts rock, indie, punk, and alternative gigs.
