Even Fred’s Happy makes music for the noise in the back of your head that doubts everything you do.
Described as "One of the best live acts on the London scene" by Still Listening Magazine, the London trio of Fred, Guther and Cowboy Hat have been found playing pop nights with Laura Mvula, at art galleries, house parties and even comedy clubs. De facto debut single ‘The Best Looking Man In The Pub’ was released in April this year. Produced by Darren Jones (Emile Sande, Stormzy, Fat Dog), and described as “if James Acaster decided to front a camp Yard Act tribute band”, the track has been featured by So Young Magazine, Hard of Hearing and Notion Magazine, as well as being played multiple times on John Kennedy’s Radio X show.
Pigeon Dog is a grungey North London 3-piece. A concoction of filth, whimsy and chaos - spat out in the form of jaunty earworm melodies, big ol’ spiky riffs, and tongue-in-cheek lyrics charged with outrage.
Like the Ouroboros, Paper Anthem begins exactly when it ends, as American singer-songwriter Joseph Hitchcock abandons a near-decade of solo artistry for a fresh start in London, home to all the late noughties indie that inspired him. Here, Hitchcock meets the other two members of the increasingly international Paper Anthem lineup: bassist Carlo Haltrich (Romania), and drummer Joe Spoors (Nottingham), all three filmmakers who accidentally fell into the music industry. The fruits of an aggressive recording schedule were finally plucked in December 2023 with the release of their first EP, A Victimless Crime, merely a small taste of what they're planning for 2026 as they continue swimming to the surface of the endless sea of noise that is the London music scene.
Paper Dress Vintage is a unique establishment that operates as a vintage clothing boutique by day and transforms into a vibrant live music venue and bar by night. It is known for its friendly house party atmosphere and hosts a variety of music events and club nights. The venue has a total capacity of 180, spread across two levels, including an intimate upstairs live music room and a spacious backyard area.
