Join us for an unforgettable evening with Elena Erin, Gaby K and Sarah Ali at Folklore Hoxton.
Known for her 2021 single Build a Ship, which charted #2 on CBC Radio’s Top 20 and landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds, Elena’s profile is growing steadily. Her latest singles have premiered on Sirius XM Radio, CBC, and Apple's New in Pop Editorial Playlists. Elena's sophomore album "Roaring 20s" released March 2025, with a sold-out release show in London and tour through North America. Featuring a blend of tender pop and introspective storytelling, with influences ranging from Lorde to Julia Wolf alongside big hip-hop inspired beats and experimental soundscapes. This album is a deep dive into themes of self-discovery, resilience, and navigating modern relationships, resonating particularly with indie-pop and singer-songwriter fans.
Birmingham born, London based artist Gaby K’s empowering, spontaneous songs are raw and moving, and are reminiscent of some of her biggest influences; Amber Mark, Joy Crookes, Emeli Sande and the likewise. The sheer emotional and organic nature of her songs have garnered her some impressive BBC Introducing support across Birmingham and London, as well as a coveted main support slot on Olivia Dean’s 2021 EP tour and Pip Millett’s 2022 UK Tour. Gaby K’s musical repertoire promotes self-love and female empowerment, and she delivers these messages in a glistening pop-infused R&B package that guarantees to impress.
Sarah Ali is a Dublin-born, Beirut-raised, and part-Egyptian singer-songwriter known for her soulful blend of R&B, jazz, and pop music. She comes from a family with a strong musical heritage, with her paternal great-grandfather Mohammad Fleyfel, who composed "Mawtini" and discovered Fairuz, and her maternal uncle, Omar Chakil, a Franco-Egyptian composer, serving as her collaborator and mentor. Her musical influences range from Alicia Keys and Barbra Streisand to Fairuz, Lianne La Havas, and Beyoncé. Sarah Ali's original songs include "Crystallized Stranger" and "Liberal Friends". In recent endeavors, she made a notable debut by opening for Amr Diab's concert in Beirut in September 2025, where she performed her original songs and an interpretation of Gibran Khalil Gibran's "Aa'ni al-Nay wa Ghanni", previously sung by Fairuz. She currently lives in London and is dedicating herself to her music career.
