DNü is teaming up with Gotobeat for their Emerging Live series which showcases the most promising emerging artists. The first event features the mysterious Swedish newcomer Salty Licorice. Rooted in poetic lyricism, with influences of alternative R&B, lofi and indie soul sonics, her songs are layered with distinctively emotive vocal melodies and genre-bending production. Since her debut project in 2019, she’s released a high quality catalogue of songs, as well as directed and produced her own visuals, revealing her unique vision and creative capability as an artist. Over the past few years, ISSA’s been establishing her place on the live music scene; performing at iconic venues across the city whilst writing and recording new music. Calling it her favourite work to date, she’s now set to share her sophomore EP with the world.
