Gotobeat is very happy to once again team up with The Prince Albert, Brighton to bring Dlina Volny to the city on Wednesday 20th August 2025
Dlina Volny is a trio originally from Minsk, Belarus, now based in Warsaw and London.
The band melds Eastern European post-punk with Western darkwave, crafting a moody, introspective sound driven by haunting vocals that feels both nostalgically familiar and distinctly modern. “Dazed” LP was the first album they released on Italians Do It Betterin 2021. It was mixed by Dean Hurley and mastered by Mike Bozzi. The band has established a strong presence in Europe, the UK, and Mexico, performing at festivals like ESNS, Kalabalik på Tyrolen, and Grauzone.
Their new LP, set for release in spring 2025, promises a darker and more assertive sound, melding elements of dark pop, EBM, and cold wave.
PITCHFORK: “Perhaps you’ve been waiting for someone to put you onto Belarusian post-punk trio Dlina Volny, whose Molchat Doma-esque sense of ennui is the perfect match for the American Life track “Hollywood"
CLASH: "New album 'Dazed' was released a few hours ago, a crystalline, inviting document of sub-zero electronics. Already becoming a cult favourite, Dlina Volny have also ushered out a new video on the web. Stripped from the album, 'Do It' revolves around that motorik pulse, utilising analogue synths and swooping, post-punk bass lines."
