Demob Happy

As their fourth album — The Grown Ups Are Talking — swaggers out of the desert and onto the stage, Demob happy prepare to brandish their knife-edge balance of melody and muscularity with an LP delivering their most refined yet devil-may-care work to date. Recorded in Joshua Tree at the iconic Rancho De La Luna Studio, rambling through dusty riffs, weighty grooves and tender ballads, the record was made to be played live. Hot on the heels of raucous support slot with Queens of the Stone Age and a packed-out headline show at London’s Islington Assembly Hall, Demob Happy return to the road at the height of their powers. Buckle up, listen up, The Grown Ups Are Talking.

Hot Face

Hot Face are a psychedelic-punk three-piece hailing from South London. Initially born out of a of a series of bedroom demos by guitarist/ vocalist James Bates, joined by bassist George Cannell and drummer/vocalist Sam Catchpole, Hot Face released their debut single ‘dura dura’ via Speedy Wunderground in 2023 – followed by their self-released sophomore single ’17 day migraine’ in 2024. During this period Hot Face toured the UK and parts of Europe, having appearances at several showcase festivals such as; Down The Rabbit Hole, Manchester Psych Fest and Left Of The Dial. In November 2024 Hot Face were invited by Dan Carey to record their debut album at Abbey Road, a one-day event that unfolded in front of a live audience and recorded straight to tape.
