Christian Alexander

Christian Alexander is a prolific singer-songwriter from Preston, England, now based in London.

In 2019, aged 20, he self-released two homemade albums, Summer ‘17, and Summer ‘19, to great acclaim, with Christian being featured in The Face, Hypebeast, Dazed and elsewhere. All this attention led to him being invited to write and record with such high profile producers as Mura Masa, Apob and others, and relocating to Malibu during 2020 to record an album, 2022's I Don't Like You, with Brockhampton’s Romil Hemnani and Kevin Abstract for their boutique label Video Store.

But more recently Christian has moved away from that hi-fi direction, and in so doing has found a new sense of creativity and purpose, returning to his home recording set-up for ‘11’, a lo-fi acoustic album and full length visualiser which he wrote, recorded and filmed in the space of a few weeks at the start of 2025, and which has quietly racked up well over 1M plays across the two biggest audio streaming sites since its release last year.

Christian has started 2026 with a bang, releasing a huge collection of loose ideas, demos and finished songs on a variety of platforms including Nina Protocol and Soundcloud, showcasing the enormous variety and creativity of his songwriting and production, alongside working towards the commerical release of ‘EP’, four new fully self-produced songs out on March 6th.

With so much music, both released and unreleased, Christian is working on bring that freewheeling creative spirit to his live shows, an element of his development which was badly affected by the cessation of touring around Covid, with a debut headline show and launch party for ‘EP’ at London’s Folklore on March 6th.
