CASTLECOMBE DRIVE - On the back of some serious praise from DJ legends John Kennedy and Dan Hegarty, English/Irish/French indie outfit Castlecombe Drive are making noise in all the right places and making sure it’s very fricken loud.  In a career that’s seen them rock the stages of BST Hyde Park, Shepherds Bush Empire and blasted across the Radio X, RTE 2FM & BBC Radio 6 airwaves, they've recently found themselves catching the attention of Irish MMA megastar Conor McGregor, who shared their single 'Blue Skies ' to his 47 million Instagram followers. With a freshly released second EP For Better Days under their belt, you can expect plenty more face-melting riffs, ear-worm melodies, and heartfelt lyrics from Castlecombe Drive for many years to come, as these boys have no plans to slow down. Influenced by renowned British rock bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen and The 1975, as well as legendary new-wave icons like The Clash and Elvis Costello, The Trusted have created a unique fusion of post-punk energy and compelling storytelling.
Their irresistibly catchy tracks have received critical praise from respected music outlets such as Gigslutz, EarMilk, Clout, Clash Magazine, and The American Songwriter. As an alternative indie rock/pop band from Southend-on-Sea in the UK, they embody the essence of the perfect rock/pop group both musically and visually. Their achievements include Radio One airplay, BBC Introducing's artist to watch, international radio airplay, Fresh on the Net's "A Year in Faves" list, and over 300 live shows supporting acts like MILK, The Rifles, and BILK. In social media, The Trusted have achieved success with their hit single 'Millennium' receiving 400,000 streams on TikTok. They've embarked on two successful tours in Italy (2018 and 2019) and headlined the acclaimed BBC Introducing Live show. Their achievements are a testament to their exceptional talent, dedication, and passion.
