SLINKY MALINKY - Slinky Malinky are a four-piece new-wave outfit, based in Cardiff, Wales. Inspired by the simplicity of poets like Brian Patten, Slinky Malinky’s songs are exercises in pointed and careful jabs at modern life. They say something, though what that is, is always somehow obscured. The band have previously opened for Enabling Behaviour, Mothman The Man & Monet, and will be supporting Half Happy in December. Slinky Malinky are currently preparing their anticipated debut singles, set for release in the coming months. Speaking to God Is In The TV zine, they described the approach to ‘Goon Boy’, their first track, as “trying to appeal to an ancient sadness - for the listener to stand devastated, and perhaps bob their head, or tap their feet.”
BRÜT - Brüt, are a five-piece band from Kettering. Formed in 2020, they bring anachronistic sounds from the parts of the UK where trendy haircuts fear to tread. They released their debut EP in 2024, blending punk ethos with 60s melodicism. THE SILENCE - Formed in the depths of North London, The Silence plants its flag firmly in the soil of the modern Post-Punk hinterland, interweaving driving, frenetic dissonance with infectious grooves to create a dark, yet danceable, signature sound.
