Big Narstie
Undoubtedly a fully fledged TV and entertainment star now thanks to his BAFTA, double RTS Award, Edinburgh TV Festival and National Reality TV Award winning The Big Narstie Show (Channel 4). It is sometimes forgotten that Big Narstie came up during the first wave of Grime and UK Hip Hop in the early 2000s. Collaborations with Craig David (the chart topping When The Bassline Drops), Ed Sheeran, Donae'O, Papoose and Kurupt FM are the tip of the iceberg. He also brought the BDL (Base Defence League) into existence, a collective united by a desire to spread positivity and a new outlook on life.
Scorcher
Whilst the homegrown sound has evolved in the UK in recent years, one thing has remained the same that Scorcher is considered one of the pioneers of grime who maintains a foothold in music. The MOBO award winning Tottenham resident has made his mark as an independent artist: achieving millions of streams, performing at the iconic music festivals Glastonbury and Wireless, as well as touring with Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. His international presence has been felt for over a decade and he still continues to build his audience and impact.
New Century Hall is an iconic, Grade II listed live music, comedy, and events venue in Manchester, known for its rich musical heritage including hosting legendary acts in the 60s and Acid House parties in the 80s. It boasts a restored mid-century design with an original sprung dance floor and a distinctive 'disco ceiling'. With a capacity of up to 1,000 people, it offers a vibrant atmosphere for various cultural events.
