Zeruel is a shoegaze artist from Baltimore, MD, United States, active since 2023. They describe their artistic vision as "dark-gaze/ambient metal," which blends elements of modern metalcore, shoegaze, and classical music to create a cinematic and ethereal sound. Zeruel released their first EP, "Awakening," in 2024. Their latest news includes the release of their new single, "Return By Dawn," in October 2025. The artist has also been performing live, including an appearance at Austin Psych Fest in April 2025, and opened for Deafheaven in Porto in November 2025.
