Sadplanet is a 5-piece shoegaze/dream pop project based in London, formed in late 2023. The band consists of Kyra Ho (vocals), Nick Rainey (guitar), Aiden Knowles (guitar), Jeff Baker (drums), and Dan Lawrence (bass). Their music combines impactful percussion, harmonious guitar styles, and soothing vocals with considered lyrics, creating a unique take on the shoegaze revival. Sadplanet's sound is consistently ambient and resonant with memorable hooks. In recent news, sadplanet released their latest single, 'walk', on September 5th, 2024. The band celebrated the release with a show on September 7th at Next Door Records Two in Stoke Newington. Additionally, they embarked on their first UK tour in November, including dates in Manchester, Newcastle, and Leeds, and supported deary in London, Bristol, and Southampton. Their single 'La Maga' was released in February 2025, following their first UK tour and a sold-out show at The Lexington in London.
